Many of our visitors, at least for some of the time, take advantage of The Old Coastguards unique location to just relax - sitting on the quarterdeck or in the garden with a book and a glass of wine. Cricket, badminton or boules on the lawn, kite flying, fossil hunting, sunbathing, swimming or fishing on the beach promote a little more blood flow; whilst walking in any of three directions from the cottage at a pace and distance to suit yourself affords a wide variety of stunning views, birds, flowers and wildlife.

Your hosts, Cheryl and John Varley, are always willing to suggest places to visit or to sample some of the really good eating in the area and we keep an information pack in each cottage.
